DECEMBER 2023 MEETING
At a meeting held on 6th November, the Town Council resolved not to hold a meeting in December unless there is an urgent reason for doing so. The next meeting of full council will therefore be held on Monday 15th January 2024. We look forward to seeing you there and wish you a happy and peaceful Christmas and New Year!
The Town Council currently has two vacancies for Town Councillors to serve our community. Appropriate notices have been displayed and no request made by residents for an election so the Town Council is now able to fill those vacancies by co-option. If you think you might be interested in serving your community as a town councillor, please let the Town Clerk know as soon as possible. There is more information on our Vacancies page
ELECTIONS HELD 4TH MAY 2023
On 4th May 2023 local elections were held in Herefordshire to elect/re-elect Town Councillors for Kington Town Council and councillors for Herefordshire Council. For the Town Council, there were fewer nominations than seats so all those nominated were elected uncontested, leaving three seats vacant.
