TOWN COUNCIL MEETINGS
There will be no meeting of the Town Council in August 2022 or January 2023. Committee meetings will take place if there is a business need to do so. Please see the meetings page of this website for further information.
NEW TOWN COUNCILLOR
Kington Town Council are delighted to welcome a new Town Councillor, replacing John Dennis who resigned earlier this year. Ruth Warne was co-opted to the Town Council at its meeting held on 1st November 2021 and comes with a wealth of experience of town and parish councils having served as a parish clerk for some years including Town Clerk in Churchdown, Gloucestershire.
TOWN COUNCIL OFFICES
The Town Council offices are currently closed to casual visitors until further notice. If you need to contact town council staff you can do so by telephone on 01544 239098 or mobile 07483 914485. Messages left by telephone will be responded to as quickly as possible and emails to the town council will continue to be monitored and are the preferred method of contact. If you wish to visit the Town Council offices, please make an appointment.
You can report potholes, full litter bins, fly tipping and related matters online via the Herefordshire Council website www.herefordshire.gov.uk.
In the interests of all our residents, please check on your neighbours and tell your neighbours if you are self isolating so that they can provide any help or assistance that you might require. Heed government advice on your own personal situation and ensure you stay healthy.
