Kington Town Council takes its governance responsibilities seriously; to ensure a high standard of practice in all of its activities, its decision-making and to ensure that it is open and accountable to the community it serves. The Scrutiny Committee is responsible for overseeing all policies and procedures, reviewing them on a periodic basis to ensure they are in line with good practice, and investigating where procedures may not have been carried out properly.
