With effect from October 2024, meetings of the Town Council are usually held on the third Monday of the month starting at 6.00pm (unless indicated otherwise). If a meeting falls on a Bank Holiday, the meeting will usually be held on the previous or following week. The meetings of the full Council receive reports from the Ward Councillor and local Police representatives as well as questions from members of the public. The Full Council discusses and makes decisions on local issues some of which have been raised by members of the public. The Full Council also ratifies recommendations from the Council's Committees.
