Complaints to the Council

Kington Town Council has always strived to ensure its work is compliant with all the multitude of regulations that town and parish councils have to comply with but like all organisations and work, things sometimes go wrong.  If you have a complaint about the work of the town council, there is a Complaints Policy detailing  how your complaint will be dealt with.    Please note however that complaints about the actions of any specific town councillor can no longer be dealt with by the town council and must be reported to the Monitoring Officer at Herefordshire Council.  Details of how to submit a complaint against a town or parish councillor can be found on the Herefordshire Council website.  If you have any difficulty in finding this information, please feel free to contact the Town Clerk for assistance.  Your information and complaint will be responded to in confidence  unless or until the Monitoring Officer directs otherwise.
