Publishing the accounts inspection period
Published: 25 June 2019
Accounts and related documents can be viewed in the office but may not be taken away. You have the right to copy any documents. The Town Council will not charge you directly for copying, however, any resulting costs incurred by the Town Council will form part of its running costs and therefore come under the expenditure paid for by local residents.
Inspecting the accounts is a statutory right for local residents but should be approached in a serious and objective manner. This right to inspect relates to the accounts only, and not to any other Council matters. Further information is available from the office staff.
